About Me

Tarek Badih

Hello, I’m Tarek Badih, a French-Lebanese architect and illustrator with a passion for blending creativity, design, and storytelling. Born in Sidon, Lebanon, in 1982, I’ve spent much of my life cultivating a deep love for art, design, and the process of bringing ideas to life. My architectural background at the American University of Beirut has given me a unique perspective on both the physical and conceptual aspects of design, while my parallel journey into illustration has allowed me to explore a more personal, artistic realm.

While architecture and construction are my primary professions, illustration has always been a creative outlet that allows me to express my thoughts, emotions, and visions outside the constraints of blueprints and buildings. My work in illustration reflects a blend of the visual techniques I’ve honed as an architect and the imaginative freedom I’ve discovered through art.

This website, “Visions After Dark”, is where I share my artistic side, offering a glimpse into the worlds I create through my illustrations. It’s a space where I can explore new ideas, and engage with abstract thoughts.
